Our minds and memories are conditioned to look for and remember things, moments of consequence. – They’re a swirling vortex  of flashing accumulated feelings, or moods, or images that are spinning constantly. – We make sense of the world when the vortex of the mind finds a match extant in reality, before us, around us. – Does trying to imbue everything with consequence then enrich life or devalue it? What’s the danger of trying to change the standard, trying to raise the bar?
